ok, so i've been trying out the whole digiscrap thing. i've been spending way too much money on scrap supplies and i make all these pages to give to seth's grandma's and great grandma's. i end up not having the energy to make some for myself, so i thought it would be brilliant to digiscrap and then i can just print doubles of everything so i can actually have a record of my son's life. i do like it, but i'm kind of cheap and so the only elements and papers i have collected are all freebies... not that there's anything wrong with that, i just think they could be a lot cuter if i had more of a selection of things to choose from (sadly, most, not all, of the freebies are cheesy and not my style completely). i do love photoshop and my camera SO much, but i need A LOT more practice. i really want to take a class! who's with me!!
anyway, these are some of the pages i have made of the past few months. this is a very new hobby of mine... i'm sure they will get better over time as i find my "style". then, maybe i will actually buy elements and paper! i've just been trying everything, and i must say, i have been having SO much fun doing it!

if anyone knows a cheap way to print 12x12, let me know... holy cow $2.00/page sure adds up!
also, because i am new to the blog thing, is there a way i can get a different font than what they offer? i have a type font i am loving and would like to use, but i don't know how to add a font or if it's even possible. meh, maybe i'll just google it. love me some google.

Ha ha, when I first read "digiscrap" I thought it was digis-crap. I thought you were making a joke... but in fact you are quite good at it Sar! I love ALL of them! I want an excuse to join you! Your Sethers is too cute! I especially love the "simply perfect" one and the "hon-ey" one. You look like a model from the 50's, so picturesque and timeless. I love all of it! But on your questions... sorry I'm no help.
P.S. Love love love the picture of Seth on the blog. Those baby blues are going to be heart breakers!
Haha! I thought the same thing as Sara when I first read digiscrap. I've never even heard of it. You are way good at it! Again I'm with Sar on the "honey" one. So cute! As for printing 12x12... blurb.com. It is kind of like shutterfly. Shay and her sister have already made and ordered books from it and they turned out way cute! It doesn't have the cute scrapbook pages but you can upload the ones you've already done and add them to your book. And they are pretty cheap. I think Shay said it works out to about 80 cents a page for 12x12?
Costco - 12x36 size for $5.00. So three pages for $5. That is what I use. Your pages are great! I love the look of only one photo on a page - I can never seem to let myself do it though! How dumb is that! You have done a ton! Congrats is all I can say.
I'm totally in, and as you can see, I have tonz of digiscrap stuff. We must trade! Let me know when you are available! Let's get together soon.
Amber, it's only because I'm not that great at picture taking so usually in one session i only get one good picture :)
They make printers that print 12x12sheets...we will have to look into it and see if it ends up saving money or not, but the best way that I have found is Costco doing the 3 sheets together and cutting them. I have some stuff on my computer too that we can download for you to use for your pages :O)
